Meet our mediator

Jorge Manzanera was born and raised bilingual in Mexico City. With a Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering and a Masters in Management he worked in international marketing in Germany, Mexico and Canada for over 15 years. Jorge later became a family business consultant and coach. He attained his certification in Neuro Linguistic Programming and in International Coaching from John Grinder. In his private practice with CEFAMEX he included mediation services for family business owners and executives.

In 2011 he completed the Family Mediation Certification from Lone Star College and Montgomery County DRC.  He provided frequent teen-parent family mediations while working as an academic coach for
Since 2014, Mr. Manzanera is also a Certified Mediator Practitioner for Washington State, and the founder and director of Skagit Mediation.
Mr. Manzanera is a board member of Skagit County Children and Family Consortium, a member of Community Action’s Latino Advisory Council,  member of the Latino Resource Network, the Mt. Vernon Chamber of Commerce, and Toastmasters International.
Currently, Jorge Manzanera facilitates two monthly Court approved LIFE parenting seminars, on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month of 2018 called: Successful Co-Parenting.
He will also present a FREE monthly seminar of “Emotional Intelligence and Conflict Resolution”
